Re: Yeah - I remember that!
V-room motors to make your bike a "real" motorcycle. They came installed on bikes from Mattel (the toy company, not our esteemed Stallion pilot. ) or you could get the motor to add on to any bike.

RE: "how to use it": if you remember your DOS commands you can still use it.

Re: Yeah - I remember that!
OK youngsters! The first computer I bought my kids (which are older than most of you) was the Commodore Vic-21 which came out about two years before the 64.
The oldest son still has it, but would have a heck of a time figuring out how to use it. The only "memory" was the boot memory which was a whopping 21kb. The programing was stored on a cassette tape player.
By the way, they have never let me forget that they didn't want a computer...they wanted a Pac Mac game, which also ran from a tape player.

Re: Yeah - I remember that!
First foray into the cumputer scene was in the mid-70's at college. Had a keyboard at a workstation. If we wanted to do 1+1=2 we had to program it in BASIC. First home computer in the family was an Apple II something or other "WOZ Edition". Dad got it through school after I had long flown the coop.

Re: Yeah - I remember that!
My first computer was a Texas Inst TR7 No memory at all all tape storage , took me a whole day to make a program to roll credits onto a video.
1st Video editor stored only 5min of video at a time , my new one does 6 hrs.

Eagle,
I don't think there are many vets from the '80s back that didn't get one of those.
And by the way, you did have those two big speaker boxes hooked up to the amp, didn't you?
