I live in Canada and have purchased a yamaha Venture in the States a couple of years ago, but i have been told that it is impossible to purchase a trike and bring it North across the border, however if you buy a kit for a bike and declare it as parts its a go , is there any truth to this ?

yes..according to the many friends i have north of the boarder. that is correct.
