Default REAR plate what U got

Just read an article about a man who lost his vanity plate on his bike because it offended a woman whosaw his plate in a Wal Mart parking lot . The plate was on a Dyna Wide Glide he also owns a Springer His plate was DY NGR translated as DYN (a sprin ) GER Well the woman called the state of Michigan and after having the plate for 20 years it was pulled as offensive. So what do you have for a plate mine is 686-989 upside down or right side up same #

Gloria was getting a plate for her vehicle as MO was changing plate styles. She has a Handicap plate and she got a hang tag for my truck for when she is along. As a lark she asked if they had handicap motorcycle plates. The lady reached under the counter, handed over a new plate, had Gloria fill out some paperwork, asd said to the old plate is not valid as of now. We now have a handicap motorcycle plate on the trike. It is handy at times, especially when her legs are bothering her, but sometimes I think it reinforces the stereotype that trikes are for folks that are unable to ride a 2 wheeler for physical reasons.

Right now, I've just got what the great state of Florida, in its infinite wisdom, gave me: 6868KF, which I remember with the simple mnemonic (19)68 (19)68 Kentucky Fried (the last time I ate that nasty stuff.

Next time I renew though, I'll try to get something more personal and fun, like the rest of you have, and drop the bucket o chicken plate.

Mine looks like it was meant to be a personalized plate, but it wasn't. My previous Fat Boy was a '95, and when I saw the plate the State of Ohio assigned me by the luck of the draw --- 95BIK --- I was amazed and pleased .

Don't have wheels for a plate yet but ... When the time comes gonna try for "8on3" because it will have a V8 ... Friend said I should get "ROLNCOL" (rollin' coal) or "OILBRNR" (oil burner) because the donor engine is a diesel ...

I know this thread was started way back... but seeing as how I'm a newby thought I'd show you my plate.
When I read John Luciano's post about the plate being pulled, it brought to
mind what happened when I applied for my plate.

Because I call the trike Mr Bumbles, I wanted BUMBLZ and local authorities (Victoria Australia)
knocked me back 'cos it contained 'bum'... but they allowed me to have this

Go figure

And if you reckon that's weird, in our state of Victoria, which I love incidentally...
When you convert a bike to a trike (as I did) it must be re-registered as a CAR!
But wait... you have to have a current M/Cycle license and wear a helmet.
Now you know why they called this state Victoria
