Default Camera's & Mounts

Hi All ...
As some know I am a camera nut .... LOL ....
I have been posting over at another Harley forum so I figured
I would post it here also for anyone interested.

Here are some pictures and the video.
I got the camera's from left to right in the picture.
The 1st two camera's are digital still camera's that do video also.
The 1st one is quite a few years old and only does 10 seconds of video at a time.
The next one is does continuous video.
The next one is a full blown video camera
The next one is the FLIP VIDEO camera. It takes pretty good video.
Lastly is the Go Pro camera that I will get !
It takes 5 meg pixel stills and 5 different video settings.
It will even take single pictures on a timer continuously.

The other picture is of my Ram mounts I use.
In the video you will see a handlebar mount on my Dyna that
I got from Kuryakyn. That was ONLY for the chrome piece
and not the ball. The ball is from the place I get all my Ram
mount stuff (GPScity.com)

" gadget fetish in general " for sure !
I run a GPS, MP3 player and the camera's.
On my 4 State trip last Summer not only did I use
the handlebar camera I also had one on a strap
around my neck .... LOL ...
That is why I was searching for a wicked good helmet camera.
So many nice views that cannot be seen from the solid mounted camera's.
Rob .....

Hi Rob...Aerostich has 2 Video Cams advertised on their site...just wondered if you've had any exposure to either of them and what your (respected) opinion is on them.

Saw your post and looked into this Camera...Interesting to say the least. Alot of YouTube support for the Quality of Video, sound quality and the fact that it's "Voice Activated"...If you go to Best Buys Site the Customer feedback is dismal...One guys said he'd exchanged the unit he received as a Gift becasue it died after a short use, used the New Replacement unit and found it also died after short use...last comment, he was going for a REFUND!!!

Hope this helps...I just ordered the Epic Wide Cam, we'll see if I made a mistake too ;-)
