Red face Hey All!

Howzit?
Brand new here and just wanted to let everyone know that I have just aquired a complete drivetrain from a 85 Fiero that I intend to turn into a Trike. Yes, it will be my first trike though I have ridden bikes in my younger days but wanted to build a trike so the wife could ride also.

I was wondering if anyone had a link or site I could go to for plans/ideas for my trike. Also, i would like to see more DIY's trikes. I am looking for inspiration and sometimes seeing those custom, high-dollar trikes is a little disheartening.

Anyhoo...i like what I see at Trike Talk and I hope to find all the info, pictures and inspiration to build my trike!

Later!!!!!!!!!

Hi and a warm welcome to our forum family!
We have a few on here who have (or are) building part or all of their trike from scratch. Baz, in New Zealand, started with a bike but designed his trike build and did it with no kit. It is awesome!
cra-ze-trikeman is doing it your way, and we are all eager to see how it goes. There are a couple of others, but I will have to wake my mind up to remember their names right now. Sorry about that!
However, glad you found us. Keep us informed as it goes along--with lots of pictures too!

Just so you all know....I got the entire drivetrain all the way down to the wheels and tires. The engine has been torn down, cleaned and partially rebuilt. I got all new gaskets to finish the rebuild when I bought the drive train. Everything is in boxes since I picked it up last Saturday. I will have to get some pics so you all will see what I have and can throw your views/opinions at me! I will be sure to keep everyone in the build loop!

Later!!!
