Default voyager tire pressure

Just got my Voyager Kit today and noticed a lot of rattling around on the way home. Well I got on the forum today and read about putting 20- 22 pounds of air pressure in each tire to help with this problem. Well it worked. My question is how will this affect tire life if at all? Thanks in advance.

20 pounds is the recommended pressure from Voyager. Being that there is so little load on them, the tires will probably outlast you.

Welcome aboard. The tires will last longer than the rubber is good for.

The rear Bike tire will wear faster than it would when it had 2 wheels

I recently replaced the front tire on my Wing. The rear is still good, I've got the opposite problem.
