Ride quality?

Hi guys. I've been eyeballing the Stallions for the last couple of years besides soaking up whatever info that's been given here. One thing I haven't seen is any discussion as to what the ride itself is like. How smooth is it? Any vibrations when on the highway at 70mph or higher? Buffeting for the passenger? Comfort of the seats during a daylong ride? etc.
I haven't had any chances to date to test ride one and currently awaiting answers back from the two closest dealers from home here to see if they even have one in stock let alone let ya take one for a spin.

I've ridden motorcycles for over 40 years and I can tell you it is indeed one of the best rides that I have experienced. A caveat to this is remember you have 3 wheels in contact with the road each wheel experiencing a different portion of the road. Do you feel it...yes but an issue with me.
I've had my stallion in the 3 digit speed arena and again have no complaints about the ride or stability. Do yourself a favor and test ride one ASAP...it will convince you to purchasing one.

Same as rudedogg. My wife has riden her Stallion over 20k miles. Many days of 400 to 500 miles. She has no complaints about the ride or the seat. She loves her Stallion.

Stallion has a smooth ride, but the seat like most seats that come stock could use some padding. I added a gel pad from Air Rider.

you can set the air ride as low as 10lbs up to as high as you want.

I live on a dirt road and I do not go over 15MPH because it is a very stiff ride and will bounce all over the place.

on a paved road there is nothing wrong with the ride but you will feel things in the road if you hit them, rocks, potholes, boards, etc.

my motorcycle is much smoother ride then any 3 wheel I have been on except for engine vibration.
NO engine vibration on the Stallion.

Thanks for the input guys. My currently ride is a Yamaha Venture Tri-Wing conversion which has a solid Ford axle. Does the Stallion have an independent rear suspension or is it using Ford's solid axle?
It's a pretty good machine but I do start getting engine vibrations thru the floorboards once we hit 70+. One reason for checking out the ride quality is also the fact my wife has back problems, so looking at that angle also.
I had also owned a VW trike back in the early 70's and that machine was really smooth riding thou it didn't have near the amenities of the current trikes today.

Stallion is solid axle. As others say, seat needs improvement.

Great ride, no vibrations even up to into the 100's. The new seats have more padding, I use a seat pad.

Does the ABS bodied Stallion shake or have rattles/squeaks when underway?

How much engine heat and noise transfer do you get from the engine compartment to the passenger compartment? Is there a tight seal between the two compartments?

No rattles or squeaks, you will hear the mufflers not the engine. Some heat does transfer thats why people add carpet. But some of it is due to being black in interior color and absorbing sunlight heat here in the south. the plastic insides can get hot just sitting.

I've ridden on a tri-wing venture (with a disclaimer that the rake was inadequate).

The Stallion is a whole different animal. She takes corners tightly, tends to sink into and hug the road as your speed increases, and has far more power and pep. Not having an iron arse, I look forward to testing out the new and improved seat.

I owned one of the first Mazda RX7's. The Stallion reminds me of how that felt and drove ... only with three wheel considerations. She's far more stable at higher speeds and on twists and turns than any other trike I've been on.

I like the options mine included and wouldn't be interested in giving any of them up.
