302 Ford AOD trans 9" rear 273 gears. Still have all the plumbing & electrical to do.

I've been considering a twin cam 4.6 was thinking chevy power glide i hadn't thought of the aod was worry-ed about the length but your trike looks great!! ...it is a good trans.. i've used them in street rods,,,, not in trike you give something to think about did you use the short aod (mustang) ??

The trans I used was from an 89 ford E150 van, my driveline will be about 8" center to center.

i don't know to much about the aod's other than they came in to different leaghts...i did use a ford 9" out of a bronco in a trike its was 48" backing plate to backing plate as i recall...your trike is really coming along!!! you'll be riding it soon i think!!
best of luck to you....wish i was straight on what i want to build...still in the thinking about it stage...but i've always wanted v8 trike!! guess thats a start in the right direction!!
