Haven't really seen any discussion on what wall thickness people have been using for their V6 or V8 trike builds. Will 2"X1/8 do the trick?

Thanks Slick Rick, looks like this could affect the hod rod crowd as well. I'll be checking in with them to see what they know about this. That's one group you don't want to piss off.
...........YEP,,,sounds like some bullsh!t law the great state of Texas has pulled on you guys .... The sad part is they have opened up a can of worms now , if not stopped will trickle down to other states . So you guys need to try to get a handle on this thing ......I just thought before you did to much planning you would want to know about this .

That law/reg whatever it is, is so screwed up there must be an easy way around it. I don't think I'd let me stop me from starting a project. Shoot I might just say it's a 32 ford t bucket and title it that way.
Now back to my original question... oh yeah, tubing wall thickness.
Bullet ,,, the way I understand it it's mating a motorcycle front end to anything and may effect hot rod builders ...... All I found on there was a condensed version of the law , not living there didn't do any research on it just hope ya'll keep that one over there ....

1.5 inch x .1 inch wall thickness on this smallblock chevy powered trike
If you are into figuring out load bearing capabilities of different types of metals and their shape and thicknesses the Machinery's HandBook is a gold mine of information. You can buy it or even some libraries have it available. It's one of the best manuals out there
