Does any one know of a company that makes a flat bed short trailer, wide enough for a trike? Or should I just check for what's available at U-Haul?
Owen.

you could make a car dolly into one. here's anothers guys project.
another thing is in most states you don't have to have plates for it.
i still like the converted car dolly. MAN he did a great job.
If you want to pay an arm and leg, Aluma makes one.

PS: Not a flatbed though
Even if a trike fits on a trailer doesn't mean it will pull good. You need some extra room to get the hitch weight right or add weight to the trailer somehow. It will pull like a wet noodle if you don't.

I'm like an old race horse..... I can still run the race -- Just ache more at the finish line and need more rest between outings.
I have a Droptail trailer that was built for two bikes. I removed one of the wheel chocks and moved the other one to the center mounting position. I have had it for three trips from Florida > Wisconsin > Florida. It pulls great and I can then fold it up and stow it vertical in my garage. The only problem I have had is the fenders work the bolts loose and I have to tighten them even though they are the aircraft type locking nuts. Also the vibration on the fenders has now broken the brace on one, welding required. My old Kendon for my Ultra bike did the same thing. I even balanced the tires thinking that would stop the vibration, wrong.

My Droptail I found on Craigs List used.
Kendon also makes a two bike trailer that can be converted for a trike. It is a little shorter and uses a single wheel ramp, therefore two more ramps would be required. The droptail has the full width loading ramp that drops via hydraulics.

I bought my Triglide from an owner in GA, and used one of these from U-Haul: U-Haul: Equipment specs 5x9 with drop ramp. I towed it back to Houston with no problems, but it was a pretty tight fit.
