Prayer for Week 15th September 2013

Hello to my friends at trike talk. It is amazing to me how I've come to so enjoy reading the variety of posts here, though I may not respond to all. We get to share a bit of ourselves. Kind of like God does with us.

Deuteronomy 28:1-68 “And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God

It is so easy to get caught up in our own world and responsibilities, to the point of missing the mark. Not easy to be faithful to God with these human frailties.

Dear Lord, Be our strength and fortress. Where we are weak, make us strong. Where we stumble, place us back on our feet. Anoint us to be faithfull that we may know your blessing on us and our nation. Amen

I have been a member of TT for some 5 years plus. I have seen many postings for this and that....
BUT.....I am not happy with this posting with regards to biblical phrases.

Should this not be done on another site or maybe the moderators can provide a page for the likes of this post...

Now... Don't get me wrong People can pray as much as they like especially for friends and friends of TT who have been struck down with illness or accident....I'll back that to the hilt but I do not like this sort of prayer for the week thing...

This Site goes all around the world and many people are not as religious as others. This may put some members off the site!!!
I know that there are cultural differences all over the world with regards to religion....for me as a hobby triker I want to leave that all elsewhere and enjoy the social aspects of what the site was set up for and keep the religious stuff elsewhere.(maybe on a set thread page like the gun page)

If I am wrong I apologise well in advance to anyone I may inadvertently offend but this is my opinion and the opinion of some other TT members who I have spoken to in my country.

I enjoy the weekly prayers and appreciate you posting them cooltech. I can also appreciate the fact that some members are not religious and dont care for reading prayers and that is certainly their choice to read or not to read or respond. I would respectfully ask that if you are one of those that do not enjoy this section, just ignore it.

Keep it up Cooltech, the right to publicly express our religious beliefs rank right up there with the 2nd Amendment.

Thanks everyone! I am most times a positive guy but i must admit this event did discourage me a bit.
(I did mention I chatted pr msg with him and all is good).
I determined I would post again to this thread and see how it went.
