With Trikes it will be like putting 10 pounds of mud in a 5 pound bag..
All kidding aside, It might work in states that are motorcycle friendly,
But it will tick some motorist's off, And lead to some to close the gap on an approaching bike.... Been there seen that..:

I've never done it while on two wheels. All it takes is one smart *2€ to ruin you and/or your day!
That's what we call "lane splitting" in this country and is only legal in California.

Not sure if I have free time or I just forgot everything I was suppose to do.
Retired and highly recommend it.
Any penalty towards a cager that doesn't cooperate or that tries to cut you off? Or are you doing it at your own risk?
Tried it once in heavy traffic. Not for me. Don't trust the cagers. Harleys may be a little wide for it also.
Motorcycle Consumer News had an article arguing the same points a few months ago. It is not legal in California. It is not illegal, which is almost, but not quite, the same thing. There is no law against it.

Watched it being done in California. Not something I would try. Only takes one A-hole opening the car door to really mess things wp.
Really on the fence with this one. My concerns on the dotted lines; Motorist opening doors to ck out traffic, anger because cyclist gets to continue on their way, car's/sm. trucks switching lanes... I just don't know. Maybe new Highways could develope a motorcycle lane and or add them to current and planned highway repair construction. Like the HOV lanes in Washington DC area. Philadelphia could sure use it.
