OK - so I'm a dummy when it comes to different models and features. Other than some "cosmetics" what's better, worse or different between this and the new F6B. I don't "get" the need for 2 similar (?) models.
I get the bags vs. no bags and a different look, but why would someone want one vs. the other. Seems like they would attract a similar customer and if that's true, wouldn't it just dilute sales for each one?
I'm sure the Honda folks are smarter than I am - so what am I missing?

It always amazes me why manufacturers change something really good looking to something that looks horrible. the old Valkyrie was a nice looking ride and now look what they did to it. I know some riders will like the looks of it but it looks like crap to me.
Definitely NOT anything "back".
This is more a reincarnation of the Rune than the Valkyrie.
I do like it better than the F6B. The looks anyways as that's the only REAL diff between this, that, and the GL18. Looks are subjective. Kinda in keeping with the Saber, Interstate, and Stateline versions of the 1300's marketing. Now you have three versions of the 1800 same as the 1300.
I like the options and versatility of a time proven and desired powertrain foundation with different "shells" and styles.
I'm a Fan of this. But again, it AIN'T no Valkyrie. Guess they wanted the name recognition.
It should play and sell to the large Cruiser segment well. Besides, they already got you Wingers.... They want to gain a new demographic and income source. This isn't for "You People" (Yes,,, YOU People ) in the first place.
