I put on a new set of BF Goodrich 225/60R-18 rear tires to my Stallion. In addition, I added a Sirius-XM antenna to my Garmin 2820 gps. I hope that the Bluetooth LG headsets work as well with this arrangement as they do with other audio applications I have.

I washed it and finally rode it for the first time in a month. I got hit with Bell's Palsy four weeks ago, and couldn't blink my right eye until this week, so it would blurr out on me making seeing the road kind of difficult.

It was nice to finally get back out in the wind!

Please let us know how your new tires ride? Did you replace your BF Goodrich tires with New of the same series, or did you update? Mine rears, they stop making the same tire so had to get tire information on a new series and have them put on.

Also, keep us posted on you new antenna and how it works.

    Thanks,

    Rosy

Glad to hear you are doing much better and able to ride. There is nothing worse than looking at your ride and not being able to take her out, just like winter storage!

Bell's Palsy, is it something you can catch or a hereditary thing? It must be rare, you really don't hear many people getting it.

    Welcome back!

Default I installed my handlebars & highway pegs on mine

I finally installed my new handlebars and cobbled some pegs together from Kuryakyn to fit my 1 3/8 diameter down tubes. Have a look.

I finely broke down and took my wheels off, Hand sanded them down, And rattle can them black, With a rattle can clear coat...First time i cleaned them since new 2011.

Took hours to sand each wheel...I'll never do that again..

What grit sandpaper did you use? Would a rubbing compound have worked? Like a jewler's compound and a ultra soft buffing wheel?

So, they look brand new, great job well worth doing! Photos?

Like i said, First time since new [2011]...They were so badly pitted i had to use heavy grit sand paper and a paste made from Bar keepers helper [Oxalic Acid]...And finish off with #400 emery paper...If you don't look too close they look like new black rims..

As far as pictures go , I tried a few times and i just can't seem to be able to get it to work.. Sending pictures as much as i would like to...Is way beyond my limited computer skills ....

My Pacer wheels looked brand new from 2002, but the tire dealer put a huge gouge in one of them. Put new American Racing on, kept my old wheels, just in case. Yes, I know, more Stuff to store!

Need to get home and start my "spring" "tuneup" to my trike. Also, need to check my Hannigan schedule to see what needs to be greased, looked at, and check for any worn parts on my suspension. Maybe if I have saved enough money, have the shock and spring extensions put on, which were not done when the conversion was put on in 2002. Don't know why it wasn't done, but dealer says it should be done, at about $300+.

Then do the routine "stuff", change oil and filter and give it a good cleanup and polish! Before we start our summer riding tour of New England!

Rosy, Thanks for reminding me about the Hannigan grease fittings. Going on a long trip next month. Recently added Barnett clutch pressure plate, oil change, LED headlight/bicolor LED turn signals, Michelin front tire with Ride-on, speed bleeders/flushed clutch, LED voltmeter and LED lighted license plate frame on trailer hitch carrier. Anxious to replace front brake pads and flush brakes tomorrow.

Hahaha! I'm learning! Our trike has 40K miles, and I'm planning to drive from NJ to CA, OR and WA and back. Trying to address potential problems.

Wow, exciting, ambitious and fun, how I do envy you. Lots of planning involved right there. Pulling a trailer I would assume, motels along the way?

Outstanding, looks exactly like my set up except for the lights. Just run the rack up into the receiver, good to go. I have a large waterproof piece of luggage, strap it down, works for me. I just could not get my mind around the trailer thing, we seem to get all we need on our Road Smith setup for our road trips mostly to TN, but other destinations as well. Good conversation.
