There really isn't a learning curve. It really is easy and you don't have to get it perfect right when you put it on. There is some flub time where you can remove it and reposition it so you can work on it being perfect! In regards to the Frankenstein Fender Conversion can you PM me your name and phone number and I will have Al give you a call so you can talk about it. Yours in riding! Meredith
