Traded off my new 2008 C-90/Lehman Jackal
We bought our C90/Jackal trike on 12 April 2014. After about 2 weeks the rear end started leaking. Took it to the shop and the dealer gave me a Can-Am Spyder as a loner while they got the parts from Lehman. I had done a test ride on one earlier and didn’t care for it but this was a loner and I could still keep riding. Picked up my trike about 10 days later and rode it home and it started leaking again. Took it back and they were going to send it to a specialist for repair. I picked up the loner again and took it home. After a week I picked up my trike and jokingly told the dealer to find me Spyder. A few days later we went for a ride on the trike and returned, it looked good, no leaks. I looked under the trike a few days later and there was evidence of a leak for the third time. Long story short the dealer and his parent company gave me a good price on a 2013 Spyder RT SM5. Went to the Can-Am shop on 17 May and took delivery. It doesn’t look as sporty as the trike but it is more comfortable for my wife and me. It’s a lot smoother ride with more power from a smaller engine and it has reverse.
