Hi can't find a trike kit to fit a 2005 rocket 3 so I'm building one using a corvette rear end can any one tell me which way the drive line turns clock wise or counter please no gussing I can do that thanks

Motor trike makes kits for 2008 and later and will not sell one with out installation my rocket is 2005 thanks

How about an educated guess? The ring and pinion / drive assembly is on the left side of the motorcycle, correct? Viewed from the left, the rear wheel turns counterclockwise as the motorcycle moves forward. For that to happen, the pinion must turn clockwise viewed from the rear. Follow me? This would be the opposite of most automotive applications, so using a Corvette differential without modifications will give you 5 reverse gears. How will you deal with that?

Bob after more research I found a jaguar rear end spins the right way and a top fuel car builder and racer is going to help me with it thanks

Curious as to which model that would be? I'm not aware of any automotive applications where the output turns clockwise viewed from the rear looking forward as the Rocket III does. Essentially, if the pinion is on the driver's (left) side of the ring gear, it will work. If on the passenger (right) side, it's backwards. The exception could be reverse cut ring/pinion sets for front axle applications in a 4X4.
