No maybe about it, you can bet this will be the 2015 Spyder, may or may not be the exact final version, but it will be the '15, I'll guarantee you. I'm sure these "Spy Shots" were staged, taken and released by BRP and so was specific teaser info like this tidbit quoted from the Cycle World article:
"but it might well be that this new version is much lighter than its predecessor too, so it might be quicker, if not faster, and might even handle better"
Now how would Cycle Word possibly know that the new version was much lighter than its predecessor, making it quicker and better handling, just from a photo lol? This article is clearly a 2015 Spyder advertisement. Truth be known, I would wager that BRP is more than a little concerned that the just released Polaris Slingshot will cut into sales of their Spyder so they went ahead and leaked photos and info aimed at saving as many sales as they can. Good marketing move on BRP's part.

I like the look of that better then the previous sport which looked too much like a snowmobile on wheels to me. There was also too much forward lean for me to be comfortable on one long term. The tourer was very comfortable but again ididn't care for the styling. maybe this will carry over to that as well.
Happy TRAils/NSD

Looks good! I just went from a Can Am ST-L to the HD TriGlide for a more laid back/feet forward riding position. Looks like they're moving in that direction, I like it.

While I'm sure this is a thread hi-jack, if you have weight bearing foot fairings on your Wing Trike, you can remove the OEM foot pegs and rest your feet on the foot fairings.
I bought a heel rest from Kury for the brake side and simply rotate my left foot to up shift and raise my foot to down shift. You get used to that very quick. It gives you infinite positions to move your feet around!
