It has been a couple months since I have had the time or energy to do much with the project or other things the family wants. But I am getting back to it.
I did get to work with the header pipes an hour or so this morning. Figure out where I left off and tacked up a few more pieces. Not much but something.
Then it was on to the eldest daughters car and a few repairs. She has been driving my little jacked up truck for the past couple months just because I could not get hers done.
Going to be a nice trike
Stallion #406 // 2013 Tri-Glide
Happy Easter everyone.
Things are slowly settling down at home.
Work is just about caught up.
I did get a couple hours to spend on the trike yesterday. Whittled some more tubing and fittings for the headers. Nothing fantastic, just time consuming.

Weird looking half an engine header.
All tacked up.
Now for the other half around the other end of the engine.
Looks good from here!
Are those diffusers "home" made as well?
I assume you mean these.
Then yes, made em, were on it before.
What the?
Exhaust dont go there....lol
And out the other side.
thru the blank trans case?? where will other pipe cross over?? also what are strut rods w/ heims for?? nice ss exhaust components! larry
The other one that crosses over is around the other end of engine. Back up a page and you will see it.
The correct pairing for a split header is
1 and 3 together
2 and 4 together
Those buggy dual cannons are not headers at all, just free flowing exhaust pipes, no scavenge or tuned header effect at all.
The best for a 4 cyl is a 4 into 1 merged. I dont have a place to pit one. So the next best is a 4 into 2 that is correct pairing.
The anti reversion chambers dont do anything for peak hp, no real change there. But make a huge cam come in harder. Helps make much more torque, especially in lower and mid rpms where a big cam would normally be boggy.
That strut is the rear suspension.
got it!! pretty clear now.....hadn't looked back.......nice work....she will have a mean cackle!!
A little more done.
OK. Left side collector faces forward and right side collector faces backward. Aren't you afraid that it will want to turn left all the time? LOL
It does get turn outs right under the heads.
And yep it will be loud as all heck.
Some more work on those oddball headers.
