I communicated with him before he did it. It is actually an overlay over the old gauges. There are some videos on Youtube on how to do it. Removing the indicators and getting them back in the correct position can be tricky. Don't think I would tackle it. Good luck!!

I have an actual white-gauge instrument cluster sitting around with 2300 miles on it. I replaced with black after purchasing from the previous owner.....if you want it.

Nope Did NOT sell the beast; had asked for $28K, offered $26K and with winter encroaching, just thought to wait a while.
I don't tell the MRS., but with the custom paint and upgrades now hovering about $10K over the initial cost, not willing to lose too much just yet nor desperate.

Having it serviced and as I did last year, a stem-to-stern going over, (being a little "anal" about matters!). I'm probably going to have the seat redone with biker gel; the cheap fix re: the Air Hawk seat pad, though more comfortable, (what wouldn't be?), makes me feel a little insecure re: taking corners since one feels that sliding sensation.

Re: the white gauges: Love the replacement with the red LED's backlighting; much easier on the eyes at night and the white during the day really makes it easier to see in bright sunlight. Again, I purchased it from USspeedo (easily found on line).
Pleasure to deal with and helpful. The new LED (blue) auxiliary turn indicator lights too, are a lot easier to notice in bright light (and no longer continue driving for miles oblivious to the stock blinkers remaining on without notice). They're a cheap remedy and easy to affix & wire... Lar
