Does anyone know what can I do to reduce and/or hopefully get rid of the buffering on the passenger due to excessive wind. Have seen the Baker wind shields but was hoping for something else.
Thanks Lj

I have read that a lot of people like the side curtain you can get on line. I have the baker wings on the top and bottom and they help but I haven't seen anything that will stop all the wind.
I have these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stallion-Tho...a31d2c&vxp=mtr on mine. They help a lot on the bottom, but not the upper body. I haven't figured out how to install Baker Wings on the windshield with the top on it. They may help with the wind on the upper body in the back. Rick

When I bought my Stallion, the previous owner had a Laminar Lip installed. http://www.laminarlip.com/index.php Since I ride predominantly solo, I removed it and sold it to another Stallion owner. Sorry I can't remember who. If the individual is still an active member of this forum, hopefully he'll read this and respond.
Oilslick (screen name) was the previous owner of my Stallion. I'd encourage you to drop him a PM. Hopefully you'll get a reply.

Hmmmm why not just buy a car .... wind is supposed to be part of ridding a bike ... or am I missing something
Appears you are missing poriod l have two other bikes
I had the Baker windshield extender early on, but I heard about the Laminar Lip and installed one. They don't make one exactly for the Stallion, but the one I have is for a BMW, works fine. I have the Baker Wings on each side of the windshield, so I don't get much wind at all. My wife does get some in back, but she doesn't ride a lot.
Thank you for the information. The wife has a lot of buffering from the wind. I see where this would help
No problem thanks for the feedback. She. does not get the buffering on the Harley trike or the bike like she does on the Stallion. Wind is not necessarily an issue in itself the buffering does not happen as much on the other rides.
Thanks again

I personally like the wind ... to a point ... never been a back seater, so I can kind of see it from their point of view ... if I was trapped back their just enjoying the view, maybe wind would bother me ... learn something new every day ...
My co rider is my girlfriend ... we've been dating for 17 years now .. I feel like we are married, but that's a long story as to why we aren't, she's the kind of person that wouldn't complain if you made her miss lunch ... never heard her complain about anything except her dad ... and he's at the point in life where he is pretty much in need of help for everything ... not cause he can't do it ... just doesn't want to ... anyway ... I digress
She's never said anything about buffeting or anything actually, except ... I did hear her complain when I went from the 1500 gold wing to the 1800 ... said the back rest sloped back too much and she couldn't take naps anymore.
Motorcycle Parts & Accessories Online from Pure Performance Cycles Arrow R&G Rizoma sells the piece for the top of the windshield that works great and amadyneCorp.com makes the wind deflectors for the side which also work great as I use both and have posted on their use in the past.
