Rattlesnake Saloon...eating under a rock........
Ever since TRIKE TALK Members Tommy and Barb Loso told me about this place a coupla' years ago, Mitzie and I have wanted to go. We headed there once on the Gold Wing Trike but encountered massive rain and high winds, so we turned back north and ate at the Catfish Hotel in Shiloh, Tennessee. This past Sunday, we finally made it to the RATTLESNAKE SALOON outside Tuscumbia, Alabama.
When You arrive in the parking lot, They will load You on the "Taxi" for the steep, dirt road ride to the Saloon...here's the "Taxi" in action.....

Here's an idea of the size...I'm standing maybe 1/4 of the way up the road.....

I had a 1/2 lbs Jalapeno Burger, Mitzie had a Chicken Salad Sandwich......
We decided to walk out instead of taking the "Taxi" back so we could take a few Pics.....
If the TRIKE TALK Tennessee TOI Chapter would like to make this a Ride one day, just let me know. It's 143 miles from Estill Springs, Tennessee ("skuuterville") one way, so it would be pretty much an "All-Dayer"...if You wanna' go "solo" here are some simple directions....Hwy 72A, turn on Hwy 247, then onto CR33....it will be 1.7 miles on Your Right. They also have a Lodge...worth the Trip just for the "uniqueness".....See Ya', skuuter.....
