In this time lapse video we see the intersection
at Meskel Square ,
the nerve center of Addis Ababa , Ethiopia ..
While the square is a primary site for the city's
large festivals and celebrations,
it is also a chaotic crossroad for thousands
and thousands of vehicles daily.
This is organized confusion at its finest.

While I was only in Addis once I did spend a year and a half in Asmara, Ethiopia (compliments of Uncle Sam) and YES it is CRAZY.....
seems faster and "as viewed" possibly less accidents than with traffic lights
Guess that just proves traffic lights do cause traffic jams and accidents.
The only reason some people are still alive is it's illegal to shoot them.
