    Default HO Scale Model Railroading

Please see attached you tube link. The recent video is only a tiny portion of the 2100 square foot fully operational digital layout. I belong to the Treasure Coast Model Railroad (TCMRR) club who produced this and many other presentation videos.

Looks so realistic, some people are very talented and detail oriented.

Lots of time and love of model railroading went into that.

There is definitely a lot of sampling going on "behind the scenes".

    No doubt about it.

That is an awesome layout. I'm an old AF s gauge fan, but love all model trains.

Several years ago when my kids were little, I built a train set on two 4x8 sheets of plywood and it took several hours to put that together. I didn't go into any detail as much as the one you posted but I did like getting started into model trains.

It is a very exciting, satisfying and rewarding hobby. You will be amazed at how quickly your artistic skills develop in scenery detailing, digital wireless electronic control systems, building structures from scratch and from kits and so on. The hobby is a continuous work in progress effort.

The most fun and enjoyment comes from the full operations sessions where 10 or more operators are running full trains with train orders issued by a dispatcher. These are work sessions where trains are following prototypical movements from one point to another picking up and dropping of freight along the way.

Awesome video! Very realistic! My brother and his oldest son belong to our local model railroading club. An very intensely detailed hobby.

The attached video link is made from a camera mounted to the cab of the locomotive. You are looking from the engineer's seat.

This particular video was done on a night with light train traffic for display purposes. The train starts off in an offsite staging area prior to entering the finished scenic layout.

The train stays on the two main lines named the Gold Line and the Red Line for a long continuous run without backtracking or repeating itself over the course of the 2100 S.F. layout.

The layout and locomotives are all individually and digitally computer controlled by each train engineer's throttle. Most everyone use the wireless throttle systems that allow you to walk around the layout while your train is in motion.

The entire layout is digitally computer controlled by the "Digitrax" systems.

All scenery and backdrops are either hand made or "kit bashed".

    Enjoy the ride!
