I used a heat gun until I was able to pull off the reflector very easily. Kept moving the heat gun from side to side, otherwise you may blister the paint. Then I used kerosene to remove the sticky remains from the fender.

Motorcycles are dangerous enough with reflectors on why would your remove them??
O' well to each their own. I guess!
But just how many times have we all heard, Quote: "I didn't see that motorcycle" OR it just came out of Nowhere??

On my 2016 TGU, the bike was manufactured with one missing on the rear fender so I removed the other one to make the trike look symmetrical. I liked the clean look but when I traded it off for a 2017 with both reflectors on the fenders, I decided that any increase in vehicular conspicuity was a good thing so I left them on even though they are less attractive than the bare look.
I just got back from a trip from Florida out to Southwestern New Mexico in my Honda Odyssey (about 3400 miles) and was amazed at how many close calls I had this trip (about 7 including a tractor trailer 20 seconds ahead of me running off into the median, overcorrecting and then shooting across the Interstate only to flip on his side) due to aggressive and stupid drivers. Last year about this time, on a trip out to Washington State on my TGU and on two subsequent trips to Dallas and Sapulpa, OK with the Odyssey to retrieve a couple of race cars with a flat bed trailer, I only experienced one significantly aggressive driver and another stupid driver. Don't know what this trip was all about in terms of all the close calls but it sort of gave me the willies. I am much less interested in being inconspicuous and might take 1dn5up's suggestion of putting a rotating beacon on my car as well as my helmets
No, you're not the only one. I to have added reflectors to my TG, plus flashing brake lights and a set of Hyper-Lites. I have a reflective vest, but don't wear it all the time. I do wear a white helmet though.
I also have 1/4" Solas tape around the lip of the tour pac and other locations on the bike.

I removed all on the 13 TG, went to register her in Delaware for the 1st time since moving here and guess they don't have a sense of humor because they flagged it as a violation. What choice did I have, immediately went to local Stealer and traded up to a new 17................

Seems like safety requirements are taken kind of seriously in some jurisdictions. Great punt in trading off that illegal, dangerous, outlaw, renegade, and just plain accident looking for a place to happen trike and getting one with geegaw reflectors and a M8 engine. That will show them and you can tell the CFO that you had to do it to remain legal and keep having fun in your newly adopted State.
I bought a cargo trailer, but returned it the next day for one with brakes, the next one he ordered had fender lights, the law changed that year for trailers.

I had used a heat gun to remove those reflectors. The key is to keep the heat gun moving back and forth. If you keep the heat in one spot too long, you will damage the paint. To remove the left over adhesive, I use kerosene.
