need help ASAP on head lights

Got a problem that Throughbred cannot fix. I have a 2008 Stallion and a burned out low-beam light. This light has not been used since late 2008, they do not stock this light and they have changed computers and do not know who supplied this light. Does anyone know what the light was made for and possibly the part #?

Is it a light or a bulb....If its a bulb.. Any auto store' Auto-zone' Napa, etc can mach it...

Not sure at this time. Got the reply from from Richard at TMS after I got to work today, will ck tonight. Suppose to carry it to Tenn Saturday so it it urgent.

My 09 lights are the same for high and low beam, the glass reflector is what is different. go to any parts store and they will have it. I used the Sylvania H9 and replaced both bulbs, just take one into the store and match it.

should be an H 9 bulb it takes two of them both the same Number

The early Stallions did have a different setup. It looked similar but was not very bright. We had one on our 175 Stallion. TBMS changed it at the Daytona dealer shortly after we purchased it at no cost. They should have new housings available. It is a bit of a job to change out. Now that being said the original still had replaceable bulbs I believe. Remove the bulb and see if you can get a replacement.

I changed mine to HID's. Big difference. Bottom is the OEM, middle is low beam HID and top is everything except the bright on. If I had that on, you wouldn't be able to see anything in the picture.

I will try just the H9 bulbs. TMS does not have any entire kits for the old 08 models. I was told that I could not buy just one, I had to get both as a set which i did ($278). The problem with them they are 1/2 inch bigger in diameter that the old ones. TMS sent me a 6 page instruction sheet on how to change it out by enlargeing the hole by grinding and other modifications. Talked to one body shop, they don't want to touch it. Was hoping to find out what year and make of car these lights were manufactured for.

Ed you are referring to the original driving lights on each side of the cowl that has to be soldered. That is a H-3 bulb I believe. The H-9 bulb plugs into the wiring harness on the headlights.

You got the correct part if we are talking about the main lights in the middle of the nose. Like I said before it was a change and it was quite a bit of work. Took the factory dealer in Daytona 6 hours to due ours. I was not there watching so I can not help on how it was done. What you describe is what was told to me by Russell who did the work. The out come was very good the lights are much better.
