Just wondering if anyone from Ontario Canada is a forum member, and if you have insurance on a VW powered trike, if so who is your insurance provider? I could use some help, my insurer cancelled me because some "underwriter" decided that custom handcrafted VW trikes will not be insured.

Thanks for stopping by,, Ontario the province I live in is the worst in all of Canada for any kind of insurance. I contacted Riders Plus the underwriters refuse to insure VW trikes, when I had insurance they would never add-on fire and theft coverage anyway only PL/PDOriginally Posted by Catfish

That is a sad situation. Your trike should be considered as safe a gamble for them as any other motorcycle they insure. If you built it yourself maybe you can get a certification from a dealership on its integrity of it's sound construction. Guess I'm just brainstorming possibilities around their insanity. Good Luck in your pursuit of insurance.
