Now that i have made a set of outriggers for my Handy lift table( and i took all my table specs and dimensions to a structural engineer at work and he said i will have no issues,plus with the way i made the mods) I can now start the winter project on my buddies 09 Tri Glide.New front tire(rear tire in reverse)lift kit in the rear,decat the head pipe stage 1 air cleaner kit,new down load,ford focus rear brake rotor conversion with new pads and find out why his radio sound doesn't always work. plus a routine maintenance.Got lots to keep me busy on the weekends while its cold.

What's wrong with the rear brakes that Harley put on the Tri Glides? I step on the brake and I stop just fine, is there something I should know about ?

The only disappointment I have with the brakes is that the MoCo saw fit not to put ABS on their heaviest bike.

Sounds a lot like what I did last winter to my 2012 Tri. Huge difference with the cat out. I added V & H mufflers and fuel pack with the stage one kit also. World of difference with just those changes.
I also want to know how the chance over to the ford rotors goes. I have the drawings for the machine work and all. I don't need to chance them out yet but would like to be ready for when I do.

What's wrong with the rear brakes that Harley put on the Tri Glides? I step on the brake and I stop just fine, is there something I should know about ?

The only thing wrong with the HD rotors are the price,if I remember correctly they are about $190 each and this could be low,and a good Wagner rotor is around $30,plus I am going to cross vent them to help with wet weather stopping.

Its fairly new to the market and have heard both good and bad reviews,but the rear tire run in reverse has been hard to beat,plus he wants to go with as wide as we can stuff under the front fender.
