Replacing Speakers.

Looking to replace the upgraded speakers on my 2014 Tri Glide with Hog Tune speakers. Has anyone done so. If so which ones did you go with and how do you like the way they sound. Also are they true plug&go. Don't want to be messing around with wiring or anything e

From what I have read, you've got to be a little careful when replacing speakers on the 14 and up models. I believe it comes down to matching ohms correctly. In some cases line levelers are required. Hopefully some one with more knowledge than I will come along to help. Lots of info on this in some of the audio forums.

I've had Hog Tunes speakers on my last 3 bikes - love them - great product, but I went with H-D Boom Stage II upgrade on my '14 TG because of all the new electrical crap (CAN bus, etc.) and didn't want to screw anything up. And besides there wasn't a Hog Tunes set up for the '14 when I bought my bike.
So far I love the Boom Stage II system.

As a low budget approach, many have installed Infinity Kappas in the fairing.
Fitment into the rears seems to vary.

I installed 6 1/2" Alpine Speakers that were a big improvement over the Hog Tunes that I'd put in a couple years ago (sorry Gary). The Alpines came with an adapter that made installation easy. The speakers were 4 ohm so it was an easy match up in that department too. You can find them on Amazon and along with another set that can take more power but cost more. Natch.
