While on the staging lane, if any NHRA rep sees a tiny leak of any kind, you will not race. Also used to catch drips while motor is built with out oil pan in place. Have one under my FLH. While parked -
I was looking around at different motor mounts getting an idea how i want to setup mine when I ran across this
I did not know they made such a thing.
It just struck me as funny.
Thank you
Bob

Looks like it would contain a lot of the oil if a rod lets go during a run.

Engine blankets or diapers can be designed to contain fluid leeks as well as contain engine parts if the engine blows up. They also have scatter shields and blankets to contain clutch parts if a clutch comes apart. I saw a lot of these being used when I was involved in tractor pulls as a track official years ago.
I am on staff with Jeep Jamboree USA and we have events all over the US where jeeps are taken on trails and scenic runs. On the Indian reservations, we have to monitor fuel and oil leaks very closely so there will be no contamination of their scared grounds. This would be a great item to suggest to people who know they have a seepage......I was kinda like Phu Cat when I saw the title on this one!!!!
