Test ride a CanAm tourer, a new generation one, not the first one. You might find you want to sell your FB6 instead of converting it!
Hi Folks,
I'm getting ready to go all in on a trike conversion for my 2015 Honda F6B.
I have chosen a Reverse Trike form.
The two I like best are the Sturgis R18 from Norway and the Endeavor from New Prague, MN.
These two both offer an additional radiator up front. The Sturgis looks more space age runs a 17" tire and has a really cool factor to it but it's 15K.
The Endeavor runs 9.5K and reminds me of the old indy 500 cars and runs a 15" tire.
I test road the Hannigan Roadster on a full Goldwing with 16" wheels but the front end seemed to scrape a wee bit if I had a steep angle leaving a driveway.
I posted pics from the companies websites to look at.
Would love to hear from any and all if you are familiar with RT's and these machines.
Thanks

One thing about the Honda GL1800 platforms is the insane reliability - I don't know much about the rotax but it sounds like the Nanny system might be a pain ? Dunno.

You might look into Hannigan in Murray Kentucky.
I have - I test road a full wing 2012 with the Hannigan RT Roadster mod. Very nice. No additional radiator for cooling. A little jumpy to drive, but I am new to RT's and it just takes some practice, but lots of fun.
Rumor has it that Hannigan is updating their Roadster RT front end / steering attributes for 2017.
I picked up my Roadster today at the factory and it has the updated steering. This has calmed down the steering where there is no "takes some practice" to ride now. It's a night and day difference.
I asked where the red/black demo bike was and I was told it was in the shop being updated to have the updated steering.
Gone is that twitchy or jumpy feeling.... you might do another demo ride.
You have reverse trike kit choices from Hannigan, Endeavor and Motor Trike. No matter which kit you choose you will find better handling and stability than when on two wheels. I'll be looking forward to updates on how your conversion goes and how well you like your RT.
