3400 miles. I don't think it broken in yet. None by me. I hope to change that big time.
14,955 on my 2011 FLHXXX. Street Glide Trike for those that wonder. As a matter of fact, my VA license plate read "11 XXX". I had folks as me if I was a porn star because of that plate. I told em "no, that I was hung like a stud hamster". Rode the hell out of it the first year, then I had to go back to work.

Just shy of 19,000. Trike will be 1 yr old next month. We've had a warm winter but it has been very damp with temps in the lower 40's in the am when I leave for work. Simply a tad to cold for my body. I feel the cold now more so as I've gotten older so I take the cage.

Really? Has it been overhauled? That's lots of miles for an air cooled!! I'm on a 2016 Tri-Glide but am relatively new to Harley. My life has mostly been spent on metrics.
I've been wondering how many miles the Tri-Glide's are good for. I know what the Honda's will do.

7,000 hot enough miles to be considering trading for the promised much cooler 2017 model.
But with that said. We have done some things to cool it down which is working ok. We love the dang thing during cooler ambient temps.
But with the promise of an even cooler ride and an improved engine design on the 2017 I think that's where I'm heading.

Brian, do you ride two up and pull a trailer ? If so, I've no doubt that has a lot to do with the heat issue you are having. Last summer I rode the '16 from TX to the west coast twice. All over the damn place. Never had a heat issue, even going across Death Valley and into NV before heading back to TX. I do ride solo. Thus, no trailer.

I am betting it is your other half that notices the heat off the cat more so than you do. That is one of the major reasons the cat has been moved rearward on the '17's. Also the new motor evidently does run cooler. Sadly, I have a feeling my two west coast rides last summer are going to be it for me in the long distance department. Mentally, I loved doing them. My 70 something body tells me otherwise.
