Last week while driving north on I-75 toward Atlanta, I was passed by a pick-up pulling an open bed U-Haul trailer carrying a newer Harley (noted name on tank) as it passed by. The taillights would flash L-R-L-R 3 or 4 times then stop. About 10 seconds later they would flash again. I followed him for about 5-6 miles until he got lost in the traffic ahead and I had to turn for the airport. Did this have something to do with his alarm?

Yes it does. I would guess the battery was dead upon arrival. You can put the alarm in transport mode and it will not be doing that. Jim

Or the bike was just stolen. Just saying.
When I went to purchase mine in RI, brought a trailer to bring it home. Had the lights blinking and winking all the way. Being new and knowing it all, didn't have a clue as to what was going on

Sounds like the guy Mitchell is talking about might not have had a chance to read his owners manual yet. Wonder if he bought it used. For me reading the owners manual is part of the fun of buying a new bike.

My suggestion is if you can't set it in trailer mode or don't have the manual pull the big yellow main fuse on the right side of the fuse panel. My bikes and/or trike has never been in or on a trailer but that what's I suggest to people.
I pull mine every night when ever i'm on the road and staying at a motel or such.
