    Default Love Jugs.

These things sound really great. Ordered yesterday along with the "vibration" adapter. Cant wait to get it & put it on.. Kinda Expensive, but cheap to keep it cool & extend life. Heat is your engine's enemy !!!! At least I have been told that .LOLOL

You will really like them. I have the Wards fans, but it is the same idea, made a big difference in engine heat

Anyone know if Love Juggs will have a booth at Bike Week in Daytona? I'd really like to see them up close and talk to the installers.

Have you installed them yet Bill? What do you think?

They are super high quality Carol. I have been a stocking dealer since they came out and have installed many of them. I have several in stock now if anyone is interested.

I have the Coolmaster fans in stock now in chrome and gloss back powder coat along with the Vibration Master mounts and the frame mounts and can ship mine the same day and if you are a registered Trike Talk member, PM me or call me at (334)648-0157.

If you are interested in the new Mighty Mite fans, I am reserving pre-orders first come first served, PM or call me to reserve yours. When you reserve, I will give you a ship date based on your reserve date.

Can't guarantee it, but the Love Jugs crew typically hit Daytona for both Bike Week and Biketoberfest; that is where I saw them and placed my order several years ago. They were selling and installing them like hotcakes, so they had to ship mine to me... got them the middle of the next week.

I think you will really be impressed with how much they cool off the HD engine.

Most recently, they have been set up near and inside J&P Cycles at Destination Daytona.

My question is, do people run these fans all of the time, even when running down the highway or are they mainly when in slow or stop and go traffic? Or do they operate with a thermostat switch? 90% of my riding is on the road, very little in-town or stop and go traffic.

    Thanks, Sunman.

I run mine off a thermo switch so they are pretty much on all the time.

After seeing the pictures of Randall's Love Jugs on his Freewheeler, I am thinking flat black.

I am sure there are lots of bikes in San Antonio with fans, but I never noticed. Now I will be paying attention.

Hey...so I've got the flat black, they do have the gloss black same price.

The reason I chose it is the flat black is that it matches the mat finish of the motor/ primary housing. Offsets the chrome accents and doesn't draw attention to it.

Mine are on running with the turn of the switch, and stays on until stopped. So there's really No good reason not to just keep them on.

Here are some picks that I've already posted in the Late Nighter's tread. I personally talked with Steve Ward CEO contact through this forum. He helped me with the decision as I was looking at the Mighty Might's .
Like Steve said, with the heat produced from this motor...the more air moving across the better.

I chose function over style and believe that the bigger fan will not have to work as hard compared o the smaller.

    Just my

Of course the weather changed again & too cold to ride & try. I doubt they will need to be used all the time & for the price an on/off switch should be on the fans. Now I have to install an Acc switch to control them. Prob another $100 or so, as the 16 Tri does not come with Acc switch. Glad they showed up as hate to think who would be holding the bag with only $50 insured package from seller for $508 worth of parts. I also got the Vibration package.
Had the same problem with the isolator. Finally took the bracket off and put in a vice to get the remaining isolator part off. Definitely, frustrating!

    Bill,
If you've ever dealt with red lock-tite and I know you have, yes its a bitch, especially on a rubber mounted part. A hair dryer will provide enough heat to soften Harleys red lock-tite, but it will take a while to get it hot enough to degrade the lock-tite enough to loosen its death grip. A $11.95 dual temp (500 degrees/1112 degrees) heat gun from Harbor Freight makes short work of it though.

It comes with switches right on the front of the fans, they are recessed a bit so you must have missed seeing them. All you have to do is hook the provided wiring harness to hot and ground on the battery, and turn on the switch.

I asked Love Jugs about this tonight and they had a pretty smart answer for this. They have sold thousands of these and say that they carry minimum insurance to keep the rates down so that they can provide free shipping anywhere in the continental USA, but they also self-insure every delivery. The minimum insurance provides real-time tracking and guarantees the package reaches its destination where no insurance does not include tracking and no delivery guarantee.

They say that thus far, only two fans have ever been lost using this system and they have shipped thousands all over the world. The insurance means the package is tracked every step of the way, and reported back to the vendor in real time so losses are rare. The difference in paying to replace two lost fans VS insuring every shipment for full value is substantial and saves them many thousands of dollars in shipping costs. Bottom line is, if they are lost, you get a replacement at no charge. Makes good sense to me.

    Lola,
You won't go wrong with either set, but If you don't mind the slightly larger size, I would have to say I recommend the Cool Masters. My experience with them has been nothing but positive, and those on the forum who have bought them, really like and recommend them too. After talking to the inventor and company co-owner, Dave Sandel, Capt. Bob sums it up pretty well below.

He had advised that you could not hear the fans at idle with the TC103. However, with the M8 engines, I can certainly hear the fans running but it is not an obnoxious sound.

What I had to remember was how impressed I was with the reduction in mechanical engine sounds when I went from my 2016 TC 103 wet head to the new M8 wet head. I think this is what accounts for the noticeable sound of the fans operating during idle.

For those that have M8 engines and are noise sensitive, I would think that the new Mighty Mites with their 13,000 rpm fan motors would make more noise than they might prefer. Sure, they are $100 less expensive but when you talk about the money we invested in some of these expensive newer HD touring bikes, what is an extra $100 in terms of the overall financial outlay?

I would argue, not much difference but what will likely be a huge difference in owner satisfaction for folks that don't want to hear loud fan noises. Just sayin'. Everybody has a different level of sensitivity to ambient sounds. I personally find the stock M8 TGU exhaust pipes to be plenty loud for my tastes and would actually prefer about 10 decibels less at higher rpm's. But that is an idiosyncratic preference and many want louder pipes than come stock so again it comes back to personal preferences. At least, I could provide one person's perspective on how they are experiencing these well thought out fans from Love Jugs.

I only have one other concern which my wife would like to have aired. The Love Jugs with the name emblazoned on all sides of the box just has a USPS shipping label attached to the box. Our female mail carrier came up to the door with the "love jugs" and kind of sniggered when handing them over to my wife. My wife sort of thinks that she was hand delivering a sex toy or something I think she would have preferred these to have come in a plain paper wrapper

My experience with them has been nothing but positive, and those on the forum who have bought them, really like and recommend them too. After talking to the inventor and company co-owner, Dave Sandel, Capt. Bob sums it up pretty well below.
So the Cool Masters are the same size as the originals but I read that they spin faster. I watched a video about them and there was a "sharp whining" sound from the Cool Masters. Is this the same on the originals? I assume while riding you probably wouldn't hear them, but what about when stopped?

So then are the Mighty Mites even louder? They are the least expensive if one can wait a month or so.

The original are the top ones, the Cool Masters are the middle ones and the Mighty Mites are the bottom. Each is about 1/2 the size of the previous one. All fans can be heard with the engine off and at idle, but none are loud at all. Non can be heard while riding.
