Just curious what tank lift size guys like best on the Tri Glide. The 1.5" or the 2" along with the rear deluxe kit. Thinking about this for my 2017 Tri Glide..
Thanks for everyone input in advance,

Through Jesus Christ, I a sinner am saved. Not by my doing but through his doing by his sacrifice and Blood Shed on the Cross. His gift to all mankind that will only believe and accept him by Faith. Through his Death and Resurrection I am Saved by Grace and someday I will be with our Lord in Heaven forever.
I installed the 1 1/2 with deluxe. When I installed it, I slide the tank as far to rear as possible. Well that changed the position of the seat, I felt cramped and the foot pegs were in a different place.
I jacked the front off the ground where I could move it from left to right easily. I adjusted the tank and made sure it would not hit the bars. I was able to move the tank all the way forward with no issue.
Results were, raised tank, very little difference in seat position, less wind coming over the tank, and sure made it easier to clean the heads, more wind on the heads, and it looks good. Hopes this helps. Jim

Well I like the 2" deluxe that is one of the reasons I went with the 2+2 sweepers so I had clearance for tank. Fred

I had the 1.5 inch lift on my 2013 trike; I went with the 2 inch on my 2016. I found that I had plenty of room for the bars with the 1.5, so I went higher with the 2016. I did not have the deluxe kit on the 2013 and regretted it, so I installed it on the 2016. I have a Road Zepplin seat and I did not find that the deluxe rear kit changed my position on the trike. I also have 2+2 Wide Sweepers for bars.

How high of a lift can you go with the stock handlebars, front and rear?

I went with the 1 1/2 lift in the front only and moved the tank as far forward as possible. Reduced the air coming over the tank significantly. I didn't want to raise the rear because I am so big I sit on the rear of the tank (have a riders backrest also) and the boys are already crowded enough. The air had to go somewhere and I have to believe it is going on the engine to cool it better. jmho
