If you are new to the forum, welcome! Posting is quite easy for us long time members, but for those who are unfamiliar with posting a message on this type of message board, I have created a how to below in response to a request from a new member.

First, choose the forum you want to post in, such as Harley, Honda, New Members, etc and specifically what forum best suites the machine or topic you wish to discuss. As an example, I will show you how to post in the Harley Freewheeler forum.

1) Select the desired forum by clicking on the forum title in red letters, in this case Harley Freewheeler as seen in the picture below.

Name: Select Harley Freewheeler.jpeg
Views: 196
Size: 110.5 KB

2) This will open the chosen forum and allow you to make a post there. Just above the threads list (threads are the individual discussions listed) you will see the "Post New Thread" blue button as seen below:

Size:	56.9 KB
ID:	43626

3) Click on the "Post New Thread" button as seen above and a page will open that looks like the one below. This is the message posting console. Up top you will see a box where you will type in the title of your post. Choosing a good, descriptive title will insure your post gets the attention and response you want from those familiar with your topic, so be sure to make your title as descriptive and on topic as you can while still using a few words, say up to 7 or 8.

When you have entered your title and your accompanying message in the whitespace, click the "submit new thread' button as seen on the bottom right, above and you will have posted your message. The same process is used to comment on an existing thread.

One suggested tip is when you are compiling the content of your post, be sure to separate longer posts into paragraphs, by hitting the "enter" key after every third sentence, depending on the length of your sentences. This will separate your sentences into paragraphs and will make your post much easier to read and follow than one big wall of words and will insure that others will respond to your posts.
