Like in the commercial ..... smartphone doesn't make you smarter, why use it to buy things ?
I don't have one anyways.............
Headline from today:
29.1 million Americans still don’t buy stuff on their smartphone
That's terrible - how do those people think America can survive if they're not buying crap on their phone every minute? (sarcasm off).
So, how about you? Use your phone to buy stuff? Here's the link for the whole story:

I have a smart phone and I don't care much for it. The first thing I did was clean up all the nonsense on the screen and just leave the basics and a couple of apps in the upper left corner. I turned off the voice activated search as half the time it brings up the wrong answer. I normally use a flip or bar phone with limited features. My old phone couldn't be used on the network as it was a 2G phone and the new one is 3G.
I wouldn't buy anything by phone.

I have but only on my home wifi.
My boy talked me into a smartphone. 90% of the time it's used as an eReader. I leave it in airplane mode all the time, so no calls come in. I make the rare long distance call with it. On the road I'll get on the internet for the weather. But there is no way I'm putting my credit card info in it...
I have bought several things from eBay that were ending while I was out and about.
Used PayPal so no credit card info sent.

I do not buy anything on my phone. I use it for calls and a camera. Every now and then I will use it for texting.
What is crazy is how many folks no longer have/use a computer...they use their phones instead.
When we do our email updates, we get a report on how many folks opened the email with a computer and how many open the email on a mobile device.
I was, and am still, shocked.
65.5% opened our last email with a mobile device.
34.5% with an actual computer.
What is even more shocking is that over 50% of the orders placed online at our website are done with a mobile device. I guess their eyes are WAY better than mine!

Nothing bought with our smart phone, I'm not comfortable using credit cards or banking on it, too much hanky panky is possible in my opinion. Our computers at home are behind a good firewall and the wifi router software is kept up to date.
