RIP Nicky
As I've mentioned here a few times I'm a motorcycle road racing fan. Last Wednesday a fellow Kentuckian Nicky Hayden from Owensboro was hit by a car while riding his bicycle in Italy. He has been in very serious condition and the word of his passing hit earlier today. I've watched him and his brothers race long before they could get their AMA lic. You could see the potential in all three of the Hayden boys as they excelled on the flat tracks as well as the road racing circuits.
Father, mother, and at least 1 sister raced bikes at some point and many times Nicky would be racing overseas and the brothers would be racing in America but a family member would be present.
His presence will be missed.

Why browsing around the internet reading the many tributes and stories about Nicky I came across this vintage footage. This is very short but very cool stuff.
