Guess I will jump right in here.

I now have a 95 GL1500 that I am planning to trike. I have been looking and am looking for kits that that I can install myself. Roadsmith, Champion, DFT, are the ones I have found. Are there more? Can anyone give there experiences with these or any others?

Thanks Dannie

I think you have found all the major kit makers that will sell directly to the consumer. A lot of kit makers cite liability and insurance reasons for selling only to approved installers.

I guess I will not be needing info on trike kits. I picked this one up Friday and rode it home from Missouri, it is a 2009 with a Roadsmith conversion.

Welcome, I see your quest has been filled :clapping: Also the trailer is on the wrong item  LOL - good luck and enjoy safely .

Welcome to Trike Talk Danny! And sharp looking trike. I agree with Frank, the trailer is on the wrong vehicle though.

The trailer is only there is because there is no hook up for lights on the bike. The gentleman I got it from had never pulled the trailer, he had bought it brought it home in a pickup and it had not moved till I got it. He had got the trike and put less than a 1000 mi on it when his wife got sick and could not ride and he told me he was not going to ride without her. Very nice man. While I am here I need to wire the trike for lights. What and where would be the best place to hook into the wiring loom?

Welcome to Trike Talk.com from Illinois.

Maybe this will help with the trailer lights. Looks like there are a lot of choices from my google search. Great looking outfit.

Can someone tell me if when a bike is converted to a trike do they just extend the wiring? I am asking about my Rodesmith trike. Just wanted to see before I got one of the plug and play kits Catfish told me about.

Nice looking rig you purchased Ronnie, and a trailer too, good luck with the wiring, can't help you out there.
