I am looking for a lightweight helmet that accepts the Honda line speaker sets for the three quarter helmet. I have a problem with the nerves in my neck and have to stay as light as possible. Something between 2 & 3 lbs

I believe Arai helmets are known to be the lightest and safest helmets made.

Please keep in mind that anytime I share or give advice about a motorcycle, unless I state otherwise, I am always referring to GL1800's and no other.
A police helmet might work. https://superseer.com/Law-Enforcemen...rcycle-Helmets they have 3/4 for the police.

Just bought an Arai-CTZ. I really like it, comfortable, light and flows air very well if I get above the windshield!!
I found a nice light weight helmet. Its a Sedici brand, model Aperto Carbon . Very light weight carbon fiber kevilar 3/4 helmet with a pull down shield and fighter pilot shaded goggles that retract into the top. This also has a pocket for intercom speakers. I did have to use a dremmel tool to deepen the pockets inside the styrafoam but that was a easy modification. Cost $239.00 .
Bought the wife and I these and really like them. The first thing I said when I took mine out of the box was that it was really light. Lots of room for head sets also.

Shoei looks like a nice unit at 2.91 lbs
The Sedici weighs in at 2.81 lbs not too much difference in weight. Cost between the two is about $100. But the Shoei is available in multi colors. Sedici does not. My motorcycle is Titanium in color so the Sedici works for me.
I bought one of these last fall. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...t-hakka-helmet
Might be a little heavier, but feels very light weight on my head.
Features:
3/4 or full face in a flip
the chin bar rolls all the way to the back
full face shield in either mode
drop down sun shade
I really love it. Did almost 2000 miles in early May and never had a issue.
