Has anybody used???

Was wondering if anybody has used the brown or white rouge to polish their rims. I found some in my stash and was curious if anybody has used them. I have the rims looking pretty good right now, used Mother's first and wasn't happy I guess. I bought some White Diamond polish I found at Walmart and it is made here in Iowa, wow, was I surprised, it worked like a champ, happy with the outcome with this stuff, several video's on youtube about this stuff.

But I am wondering about this rouge for further polishing, guess I'm picky I guess, priced out some rims and lower legs and I can't justify that much money and I didn't even price any tires with it or the labor for the dealer to install. Have looked at exchange rims to get the chrome ones and that is even high but cheaper than buying new, maybe not after dealer charges labor and everything to go with it.

There are many threads about the tri's wheels. On my 15, I clear coated them after cleaning them. Lots easier to keep them clean. To get them clean was another issue. I used lots of Mothers and lots more elbow grease. Good Luck.

Don't know if any are in your area, but check with the sport bike crowd, they're always polishing their frames and swing arms to mirror finishes....they should know what to use.

I have used a power buffer and a good wheel polish to clean the stock wheels

I spent an entire day cleaning all three stock wheels early this season. I removed the rear wheels one at a time but left the front one on. Cleaning/polishing them took lots of elbow grease. So, now I use an old rag to wipe down each rim each day I ride. Sure, it takes 10-15 minutes including cleaning the lights and windsheild, which I do anyways, but it delays another whole day ordeal.... We'll see how long it holds up.

I use Zephyr Pro-40 Metal Polish and a powerball with a variable speed drill about twice a year, then a coat of wax, they still look good after 2 years.

Mother's and a powerball on a drill once or twice a year. If that ain't good enough, eff em. I'm into riding, not shining. If I gotta replace the wheels they won't be shiny ones, I'll look for an enamel red that matches my paint..

I'm third owner, previous ones had no clue as the spray on wheel cleaner use. Once it drys, it's time to cry 😭. So here was my solution, got some old rust oleum in a rattle can , primer included, and did all 3. First I scotchbrited them smooth. Polish rims as a winter pastime.

Well I tried the red and white rouge this morning, no difference in the way it looked, did not see any difference, so I wasted my time, here is what they looked like right now these have been polished with the White Diamond polish that I got at Walmart, around $15 if I remember right, did the mother's first and wasn't happy with it, tried the White diamond and very happy. Just wish I could get the rears to match the front, front looks like chrome and but the rear's are ok, but the brake dust takes it's toll on these for sure.
