Not a solution, but a law that got passed here in Kentucky last year in regards to this problem...
If a motorcycle sits at a red light for more than 2 minutes, they may proceed through the light provided that the intersection is free of traffic.
There's one side street here I must use , that crosses a major highway. The traffic light sensor will NOT pick up a motorcycle, 2 or 3 wheeler. Tried recomended magnets, riding on the sensor line, waiting for a cage to show up, even talking to the light.
Other than blowing thru it, has anyone got a solution

According to the intierweb, so it must be true, as of April , 19 states allow it, after a reasonable amount of time, or time specified

Found out the red light laws are referred to as "dead red" laws.
Dang-it....Texas is not on the list !!
Call 311 or whatever your equivalent is to talk to the road maintenance people. I had the same problem with a light I rode through on a regular basis, reported it, and they fixed it in about three days.
2024 Tri Glide! Only modifications so far - transferred Rider backrest from old 2015 Freewheeler, just added highway pegs!
Hopefully those "big brother is watching you" states that utilize redlight cameras to the fullest extent, will allow motorists to pass through on red after waiting a reasonable? amount of time....
Just glad mine is not one of those...
Yep, here the state has signs that say, to report and traffic light problem call 511.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
Wisconsin law allows you to proceed safely after 45 secs.

I have one in a left turn lane near my house. I finally gave up and now I do a right and a u-turn.

Most of the intersections in Florida where I live have the lines cut into the pavement so I can tell where the wires are buried to detect when a vehicle pulls up to a light. Big twin Harleys, and I would think Hondas too, have a large enough charging system that just a quick blip on the throttle creates a big enough magnetic field around the alternator that it disturbs the sensor in the ground and triggers the system so it knows I'm there. Have you ever tried using this approach? I always make it a point to put my alternator over the top of one of the lines cut in the pavement. Hope this helps.
