An out of round tire will drive you crazy. I had a wheel get bent on the wife's care a few years back. Could not see it with the eye, but the tire shop finally found what it was. Jim

Ok just checked my tire. If gauge is accurate, it shows 8mm which is 10/32's I have a little over 1100 miles on this tire. So OP's measurement of 11/32 looks to be right,even though Avon site says 5mm. May depend where it is measured . I did measure deepest tread ,there are some more shallow. Avon did not specify where they measure tire.

The Avon North America site for the Avon Cobra for Trike shows the MT90B-16 to be 8.7mm. If I am not mistaken this comes out to about 10 to 11/32. My new MT90B-16 measures 10-11 32's in the deepest grooves. The 130/70R-18 size shows just 4.5 mm.

Correct! Depends on which Avon Trike tire you are talking about. The MT90B-16 (130/90B16) has deeper tread, 8.7 mm or 10/32 -11/32 than the 130/70R18 which is 4.5 mm or 6/32...
And it is a trike specific front tire in either version.

update
Dealer checked wheel bearings, stem bearings, balancing and even rear end & tires. Everything is in order. They did notice the "wandering" at speed. They called Avon and Avon will replace the tire, so I will try a second one and see how this turns out.

Avon - Is the only tire especially made for Trikes. ( "Your going to mount it isn reverse" ) Thats great.. I hope you are going to drive in reverse as well.
