With out all the "Why" arguments......would the Road Glide fairing be a direct bolt on to our Tri-Glide? Or at least within reason? Thanks - jc

Rake and handle bars difference is most likely the largest issue but I'm sure it can be accomplished where there is a will there is a way. Sounds like a very large project to get the gages, switches, wiring and all controls switched but I believe it is doable. good luck sounds daunting project beyond my skills. Fred

I have thought about this very thing since i am a Road Glide fan,my last two two wheeler's were Road Glides.Everything should be a bolt on,mind you very expensive but doable. The only thing that i would not be certain of would be the mounting of the steering stabilizer. You may have to make some brackets to drop it below the fixed fairing.
It's been done in the past on one of the other forums. I think the parts alone were somewhere in the $4k range.

yes it can be done. I have changed Street glides and ultras over to the Road glide set up and it is not a hard thing to do. Pending on what year your trike is . If you look at the front of the frame just before the neck stem. You will see 2 inditations on where the R/G fairing is to bolt on. Yes you will have to drill through the fame so you can run 2 bolts through the frame and bolt the R/G fairing bracket up. For sure you will need the fairing, inner and out, The fairing mount and the radio bracket. You can get a hidden outer frame fairing bracket to take place of the brackets that run down to crash bars. Also you will need the nachile covers and pending on what year you have you may need another tach and speedo. It is doable but the cost is pending on how you shop for parts. I have done i no over 10 of these conversions and it is doable. If you need more help give me a shout. I have a lot of good R/G parts. Hope this helps. Booggerbe (Ron)
