Anybody running these on their High Beam.
I have a set on the way and am debating on how to hook them up on my 2017 Trike.
Thanks

I think this product may be my next purchase . . . moving to the country in November . . . may come in handy on the East Texas country roads
2014 TGU Black . . .
My auxiliary/passing lights will only come on with the low beam and I wanted the driving lights to close up the holes on the sides when using the high beam.
From what I have found in other threads I can have the dealer to FLASH my system to have the auxiliary/passing lights on all the time with both the low and High beam. The auxiliary/passing lights have a dedicated switch so I could turn them off if needed but I can't of a reason why I would want to do that.
So if I get the auxiliary/passing lights to come on all the time then I will just hook the driving lights up to them which appears to be a much easier task than trying to hook them up dedicated to the High beam only.
This way I will have the benefit of the driving lights all the time.
Does this theory sound doable?
Thanks
Bob
I recently installed these on my 2015 under the foot boards (stealth mode). Coming back from Panama City, FL. the daytime temps were floating between 98 and 100 degrees. I decided to run in home at night to beat the heat and rain forecast. Riding in the dark, on low beam, driving lights and led's, I had no reason to run my high beam. The leds put out enough light to give me coverage from shoulder to shoulder and beyond on the super slab and did not bother oncoming traffic. That is running 75mph and in some rain. Just my .02, but I think you would be fine with just adding the led on the low beam side. More than enough light to see everything from tree rats to bambi. Not to mention simple, clean and easy install. Thanks to DK for another great product.

That is what I do. If my aux lights are on, my Stealth LED Driving Lights are on. I have my bike flashed so that my aux lights can be on with my low AND my high beam.
The only time I turn my aux light (and Stealth LED's) off is if I am in a parking lot with a lot of folks walking around, or at a rally with folks walking or sitting around.

Thanks for all the responses.
Thanks Kevin for another great product.
I am going down to Tennessee and North Carolina this weekend for a ride so I won't install them just yet.
I will need to get the bike into the dealer to replace the Front Fender tip light that quit working last week so I will have the Flash it then and then install the lights.
Is there an preferred/easy place to tap into the wire?
Thanks
Bob
The easiest place, that is also hidden, is on each side, behind the inner fairing skirt/dash panel fairing. This is the piece of plastic at the bottom of the inner fairing...the one your ignition switch sets on top of.
The wires for the front turn signals and for the aux. lights sit right behind that skirt and are easy to access WITHOUT removing any part of the fairing.

Will any dealer run a flash for your highway lights? How much should it cost to have it done?
Every dealer should do it. It is a federal law that it is legal to run high beam and running lights. However, quite a few years back it was not.
As recently as a year ago I spoke with a dealership that still did not know that the law had changed...there might still be some out there that are ignorant of the law change.
They should not charge anything.

I have a 2014 TGU and will be adding the DK Stealth Lights on my engine guard. Do you know if the switch # 71400044 will work?
I want an on/off effect with the lights. Adding a switch to the panel seems like the best option for the on/off capability.
Thanks for any insights....

Going to order my lights soon and looking at the wiring possibilities. If I tie into the wires you referenced are the lights going to come on when the aux. light switch is activated that came with trike? Or do I need an additional switch like the Harley aux power switch kit part# 71400106? Thanks, Rev.J.
