I am following the instructions in the manual for setting your personal identification number, but cannot get to the point where the display requests a number. Anyone else had a problem doing this, or is it just me?

I've installed the code in 3 Tri-Glides and a Freewheeler and didn't have a problem. What you are doing is VERY important. I've seen one person with a Tri have his fob battery die on a long trip and never input a code. Another lost his keys and couldn't start his trike. Make sure it is an easy number. Good Luck

Why 3 wheels?
because 2 isn't enough and 4 is too many

Having said that, the old adage. "When in doubt, don't scream and shout, reboot the system." Applies ...
Either should work ... but just turning the ignition off and on might work also, kinda like a warm boot.
