    Default Goldwing Trike LIfts?

I was wondering what folks are using for trike lifts for their Goldwings? I have been looking but haven't quite got to where I'm willing to drop $1,500 or more for a table. I found a jack style lift made by JS Jacks for a little over $500 that looked like a great compromise, but it's designed for Tri Glides, not a Goldwing. I have been talking to a guy with JS Jacks, and sent him some photos of my trike, but he said that with the belly pan and the drive shaft he couldn't make it work, for now. He also said that he was going to take a look at some Honda trikes at trade shows and try to design one that work. In the meantime I am still looking. So, do you guys did you guys with the lifts bite the bullet and fork over the big money?

Handy and K&L make great lifts. Because you have a trike, get one rated for at least 1500 lbs. Electric over hydraulic has less bounce and jerk vs pneumatic when raising/lowering.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased this Redline lift last March. Couldn't be happier and wish I had done this years ago. Besides my trike and bike, it makes a wonderful adjustable height work table for projects.

And the electric hydraulic power unit is well worth the price and smooth as silk.

I agree with Greg on the K & L lift tables. A good friend / trike builder friend of mine was forced to retire and sold me his MC655R and all the accessories for a very reasonable price. That eased the acquisition pain considerably and has really made my life easier!! I recessed the lift mechanism into the floor so I can park my trike on the table daily. Makes life much better..... Now I don't have to roll around on the shop floor like a beached whale while cleaning or doing maintenance..

Works great for my Freewheeler too.

I took a 2x12 board and cut six 1 foot sections , and then screwed two boards together

so now I have three boards all 4 inches high and use a jack to lift wheels, and then place the boards under each wheel so much easier to work under if need too.

+1 on the Redline w/ electric pump. My son is an industrial welder, he looked everything over and approved the build and welds. Said I did good buying it. Have used it for the trike, bike, snow brush tractor, ZTR mower and ATVs. Handy as hell...

Don't hold your breath! I asked J&S to look at Gold Wing trikes a few years ago. After several messages, back and forth, I was told no forth coming plans for a Wing trike lift! Maybe "things" have changed!

Good plan Ronnie!! Even with the lift tables there is a clearance issue underneath. Your blocks are sort of a variation of the ramps I built back in 2010 when I converted my '06. Still use them on all trikes if I have to get underneath. Using the ramp just eliminated your "Jack" process... Once on the top flat area the ramp portion gets removed and I end up with the trike basically setting on top of three 2 X 10s...

This is how I lift mine. I had the lift and just made some adapters to go under the Road Smith frame and a 2X6 across the front pads going under the engine.

I've got the 1500# Table lift from Redline. Looks almost identical to Gold Rush's.

I ended up getting the optional front extension for the front wheel though and glad I did.

Mine is pneumatic but the little bit of "bounce" has never been an issue with it.

Shoulda bought the darn thing years ago. I also use it for side-by-side, mower, etc.

I have what I believe to be a Direct lift but I think they changed their name. Anyway it has side extensions. The former owner that I bought it from installed solid steel rod vs pipe to hold the extensions. He used it for his Gold Wing. It did crap out on my when I was doing my Victory trike but luckily in the up position. Considering itrike was not anywhere near complete at the time. I bought a rebuild kit locally and installed it. Piece of cake really. It still works great. Mostly been using it for two wheel builds lately. He had it listed on ebay for $400. Soon as I saw he was in in AZ I bought it right away. I have added the front extension table.

    Default Lift for trike

I found a nice used Ranger brand air over hydraulic, on craigslist, came with the side extensions #1500 rating works great, does have a little bit of the bounce when raising but overall does the job all for the price of $600, right place right time, they are out there just have to be diligent when searching. A lift make all the difference in the world, much nicer to work on bike.
