    Default Oil filter relocation.

    Finally got around to installing my oil filter relocation kit from DK Customs.The hardest part was getting the old filter off,then I put a protective covering on the oil lines to help from chaffing.This winter I am selling my Cool Masters and installing the Mighty Mites so I can run DK's oil cooler.This should help keep the oil temps 30-40 degrees cooler.

    The cool masters are made by Love Jugs but due to their size you cant run a oil cooler.And I feel the oil cooler is crucial.

    I have the DK filter relocation and oil cooler. It was a great thing to do. I will be installing the mighty mites soon. Jim

    Steve, if you go with the Mighty Mites, I would highly suggest you also install them via the "frame mount kit" as it totally eliminates the vibration one has at the OEM horn mount. You can also eliminate the OEM horn bracket that attaches to both cylinders at the top. Great attachment method!! Also, from my experience, hard wire directly to the battery instead of using the included plug that is included to plug-n-play to the accessories plug under the seat, especially if you also have the Power Vision. I had three days of problems with RF frequency problems (also talked to Jamie at Fuel Moto and Jeff at Dynojet) until I isolated the RF interference directly to the Fan cord. Originally thought it was the plug wires and was finally able to isolate the issue to the fact that I used a split wire connector directly to the accessories plug. When I finally hard wired directly to the battery the problem went away. The need for the "Y" connector to the accessories plug was due to my using the accessories plug for my Road Zeppelin seat. Good luck with your installation!!

    I dunno about the Tri Glides

    The Freewheeler like mine I mounted to the horn location, I did not reuse the factory piece the Mighty Mite bracket is better, I wired direct to the battery with the supplied fuse

    Not much shake from the M8 compared to my 15 Freewheeler

    Roger you are not the only one that has had problems with interference with these fans and Power Vision issues. I had my PV sent back to Dyno Vision to be evaluated and it was OK it was the accessory plug circuit also, hard wired to battery issues went away like yours did. See we are not crazy LOL ride safe Fred
