Fuel Treatment
Greetings, for several years now I have been using a product called Ethanol Defense after getting good reviews from a friend. I purchased it from amazon. The first time I ordered it, I also purchased some 1/2 ounce glass bottles to dispense it. 1/2 ounce treats 5 gallons and the filled bottles make it very convenient to add without the hassle of needing to measure. Just thought I would throw this out there.

I use Stabil 104+ common hose different blends you get screwed on premium fuel you pay for unless there is a dedicated pump and hose (which are very rare). Long term I use 360 performance no reason for me to switch. Gold Eagle products a available all over so if traveling I can replenish supplies.travel safely Fred

I use to use H-D Fuel Additive with Duralt. Now I will only use Techron. Every test report I've ever read shows it to be the best fuel additive on the market. It's in all Chevron gas.
I don't use it religiously, maybe a couple times a year.

The only fuel treatment i use is when i store gas, Otherwise i don't use it or need it.
But like my Old man would always say; If putting extra stuff in the gas makes you feel better , Then go for it.....Cause If you don't feel better then your engine won't feel better..

I use Harley's Ethanol Guard.
I am a Stabil guy myself. Used it in the boats, restored cars and hot rods, motorcycles & lawn equipment for years with good results.

I use Stabil for fuel I am storing. Seafoam if I get a bad tank of gas.
Both have worked well for me.

I always carry some Stabil with us, used it in our boat for years. Where we live is a boating mecca, 90 octane straight gas is available at our local Shell dealer or at any of the marinas along the coast.

Used to be a big fan of Techron until I saw some of the damage to engine rings, mind u this was from folks dumping extra from a parts house in the tank

I do 4 oz. Sea Foam every 1000 miles or 3 months.
4 oz per how many gals at fill up? I try to top off just below half a tank when possible.
Berryman's 12 Chemtool (Walmart about $3.50) is what I use to CLEAN the fuel system. I try and use non-ethanol fuels when available. I have the pure-gas APP on my phone. https://www.pure-gas.org/

BobI know what you mean. Just passed 36K on my '14. Thank god I have the extended warranty. My reverse just went south at the HOG rally in Milwaukee. 30 days to get a new one. My dealer has 10 dealerships. You'd think at least one of them would have one. So far I have more then paid for that warranty and I have 3 more years to go.

Use Sta-bil marine version and have for about 4 years now. Visited with Sta-Bil rep at Sturgis 4-5 years ago and he pointed out the value of the marine product over their regular Sta-bil. One being the marine version has 3 times the cleaning value over the standard product.

Have always been a big fan of sea-foam. I can't recall how many people I have recommended to after hearing of complaints of rough idling outboard motors, and other small 2 cycle motors. The majority could not believe the results of sea foam usage. I was not really sure of its ability to overcome the effects of ethanol so I switched to ethanol defense. Filling a few half ounce glass bottle and carrying it on the trike made it very easy to dispense at every fill up. Half ounce treats five gallons. I have also used stabil marine 360 in my automobiles. Maybe would be a good idea to use a treatment for cleaning the fuel system and one for reducing the effects of ethanol.
