To all of the Trike Talk / TOI members and friends,

Now that TT rally in the valley is over for this year , it is time to plan for one of the rallies for next year (2012). So with haveing 2 rallies to choose from , or maybe even attend both , the choice is yours , plan early and enjoy even more.
Trike Talk has started the Western Rally to primarily benefit our members west of the Mississippi River and western Canada. Fun will be had for all who attend , see you there.

there is one next to thr Grand Seirra hotel/casino , was a koa several years ago but might be under the hotel control now , another one that is pretty nice but about 15 miles west of town on I-80 at the Boomtown casino , also pretty nice.

P.S. if you want dry camp in a rv you can also park in the parking lot at the Sands Casino (I would call to check for sure , but they do have a large paved parking lot)

Following the lead of our esteemed leader , I checked with the Hotel in Reno, NV , and there is only one (1) reservation so far.
I know those of us in the western USA can do at least as good as those going to the rally in the valley.

P.S. I sure would like to have some company when going on the planned rides.

Thanks , by the time we get to our 5th rally we hope it will be as big and fun as the rally in the vally.
I would like to have at least as many as they had in their first rally , hopefully more.

At 12:01 am this morning was announced that the 2012 AMA Int'l Women & Motorcycling Conference will be held in Carson City, NV, July 26-29! This event is held every three years....last one I attended was 2009 in Keystone, CO. Sorry, but can't do both...reservation made for Carson City. It's a "must do" event for all women riders!!!!

We would love to go , but unfortunately this is the same weekend (July6) that we leave for a car group Gathering in Somerset, Ky. the next weekend. Hope you all have fun and it is a success. Maybe next year.

Wish I could, but it's just too close to Maggie Valley - vacation and money wise. Much as I want to see Reno, I just can't do both this year.
